1964 Squareback, All original Variant type S

Type 3, Variant type "S", All Original! $10,000/BO (we are still seeking an exact price on this) This is for a 1964 type 3 'Variant type "S".' with an original 6 volt engine. This particular Variant is ALL original. It was kept in a garage by a docter, then bought by a woman in Elk bottom. It was then bought by a couple in Mendocino. We bought it from them about a year ago and drove it to Petaluma. The mileage on it is 43,294 on the original 6 volt engine. The color of the car is an exclusive 1964 color called "nutria", which is a light coffee brown. Everything in this vehicle is original even the upholstry which is covered with tight fitting brown leather covers to protect it. The tires are also the original ones. It had a push button starter, but while it belonged to a previous owner it was broken into and now you have to hotwire it to start it. As far as body work and restoration, it does have beginning spots of body rust and the seals are in need of attention. The emergency brake has been hiper extended and will need to be fixed. As far as dents, the only one is a quarter sized dent on the bottom of the rear fender. It also has the original rechromed bumpers and bumper uprights, as well as a couple rechromed misc. parts and the original tool kit and car jack. This car is in good condition for being as old as it is and not having any work done on it, but it is in need of restoration and TLC.
