1969 Fastback with Factory Sunroof
near Redding CA
Thinning the herd, I'll never get around to this one so it must go. '69 Fastback with FACTORY CRANK OPEN SUNROOF! When was the last time you saw a Fastback with one? Very nice shape. Pros: almost perfect body, no pan rust, from Oregon originally, still have the original plate frames, owners manual protector for the dealer, even the salesman card is in there. Sunroof works perfectly, does not leak, side pop out windows, Spark-O-Matic vintage shifter, new polished Empi 8-spoke wheels and tires (less than 1K miles or so), lowered front end 4 notches in front, 1 in back. Has an awesome stance. Engine converted to carbs - dual baby Dells that work fine. New transaxle with less than 200 miles on it. Have lots of original reciepts for work dating back to the mid 80's. Cons: Rear apron behind license plate is dented in, tiny bit of rust on front passenger fender near the headlight - barely noticable but there, seats are ok but need recovered (read on about parts included), could use a paint job but will rub out and look ok. Engine starts right up and runs with good oil pressure but needs a valve job. Parts included with sale: new TMI white seat covers front and rear, new TMI carpet kit, replacement door weatherstrips - german, a much nicer padded dash. This could be a great daily driver for little money, or a great foundation for a restoration. I'm looking for 2900.00 for it. Come get it out of my garage. Thanks for reading, Tom. 530-474-4186
