1970 VW Fastback- Automatic

1970 VW Fastback, Automatic. We are second owners and have all the records, manuals etc. It's in surprisingly good condition. Light blue exterior with a few tiny rust spots here and there, but nothing major and no dents. Would be show-quality with a new paint job. Black interior is in very good condition. Dash has a crack in it, but otherwise very nice. We have replaced the driver's upholstery, everything else is original. Garaged for most (34+ years) of its life. Has a SUNROOF although it was sealed by the previous owner and we have never tried it. He said the chain stuck once and he didn't want to fool with it again so he sealed it with caulk. Engine was rebuilt in 2004 and we have not driven it much since then, probably much less than 10000 miles on the new engine (was my car but we have small kiddies now and it's not ideal as a family-mobile). Runs beautifully. Engine and engine compartment are in very nice condition. Great stereo in glove compartment with nice quality speakers. All in all, this is a wonderful car. Great for around town driving. Hoping to sell it to someone who will appreciate it. Asking $3000.
