Early Notchback for sale

This 1963 Volkswagen Notchback 1500 was bought back in the early 90's in all original condition from a collector near Boston. This car is rust free, has never been in an accident, has the original German paperwork including receipts and warranty info (even a thank you letter from VW for his purchase!), low mileage, and is a show winner. If you need any further info, please contact me. I can furnish any photos at your request. The interior is all original and in excellent condition. The headliner is perfect, and also all original. This car has the rare trip-meter speedo, and a VDO tachometer. I have the original red-needle clock as well. Cocoa mats are in excellent condition (with VW metal stamp still intact), shelf, and Bosch driving lights (not wired). The windows and window cranks work perfectly, as do the side pop-outs. Speaking of windows, the glass is all original Sekurit, and there is a small crack at the bottom of the windshield in the center. It's insignificant, and it passes our rigorous state inspection, but I wanted to mention it for the sake of completeness. The chrome is all original (I have correct VW beauty rings if you want them), and has NOT been rechromed. It didn't need it! I installed a new throwout bearing, disc, and pressure plate (German) and rebuilt the front brakes a few months ago. I also installed a correct NOS muffler a few months ago I bought from another collector in Germany. I can't think of anything else, but if you can, email me and I'll get in touch asap. I rebuilt the side-draft carb and fuel pump and it starts, idles, and runs smoothly. The car won 1st place in the Type 3 category in the last three shows it entered. The car was purchased originally in Vienna by an American and driven to Prague to visit his family. The car was then shipped over (I have all the original paperwork for this, including the car's "passport" with shipping info, VIN, etc) and was driven only on weekends and to events. A beautiful car, in excellent condition with a rust and accident free history. No body filler; just a straight, clean, low mileage, excellent 1500. Just the sort of car the collector wants. 15,000 USD ono. images.thesamba.com/vw/ga...389986.jpg Please email me for more pictures. You wont be disappointed.
