1964 Squareback / Variant S

California VW with a rust-free pan, good body, most original parts including dual carb higher output "S" engine, push-button dash, near perfect headliner, all Sekurit glass, and Euro taillights. Additional parts not shown in photos (bumper, hubcaps, jack tools, etc.) included. Car has been sitting for approximately 9 years and is NOT RUNNING. Condition of the mechanicals is unknown. Registration just paid and is current through November 2008. Have new plates, so it’s legal on the street. Clean title in hand, not marked salvage. Body shows some spots of surface rust (no holes) and some poorly applied bondo to the front. Bondo job worse than the actual body damage. Won't need too much body work once the bondo is removed. Interior is partially stripped. Has both low-back seat frames without padding or upholstery. Rear seat intact but was recovered at one time. Carpet is replacement. Door panels incomplete below arm rests, but have original cardboard to use as a template. Worth it for the pan and parts alone, but better than a parts car. Just rescued from a tow yard. Didn’t want to see it die, but I don’t have the space or time to work on it. Looking for a good home. Will need to be towed. Please, no tire-kickers or dreamers. Will NOT part out. $1,300.00 o.b.o.
