Details: inner fenders and wheel wells, as well as interior floors POR15 coated; new OE outer rockers donor fenders and doors used from another rust free car All new rubber throughout; new carpet & headliner original seats and vinyl; nos dashpad; vw option clock delete, trip speedo, genuine vw coco mats, genuine vw under dash parcel tray, rebuilt gas heater; new rubber impact strips and good used overriders found; nos genuine vw mudflaps; vintage Bosch fog laps - era correct Australian brake light/turn signal lenses; refinished empi wheels with new toyo tires 195/65/15; cross drilled brembo front rotors and new calipers; rear roto-hub disc brake conversion (with parking brake); donor 1968 type 3 engine with dual ICT weber carbs and electronic ignition, performance header and muffler (no heat) - supposed recent top end - all tin powdercoated; heat blocked off; full instrumentation - head temp, oil temp, oil pressure automatic transmission; vintage fm radio with new modern center in-dash speaker with sony 10 disc mp3 cd changer; new boge shocks; new steering box & damper; genuine Nardi wood steering wheel; new rubber brake lines; new aluminum exterior trim; guestimate of $15-20 invested in restoration approximately 5,000 mi on vehicle post restoration ~7 years ago; needs just a little bit of work to be 100% perfect.
