re:oil light flicker

I have had this problem sometimes. I think it has to do with the oil being
thin or something, and when idling it doesn't generate enough pressure to
keep the oil press. Sensor from turning the light on. I've been told in the
past not to worry about it. I'm not sure why...

On the other hand, your oil should not turn black that fast. If you just had
an oil change, and only drove an hour, your oil shouldn't turn black that
fast, unless the engine was super dirty. In that case I usually do a couple
quick oil changes, with a little driving in between, to help flush all the
crap out of the engine.
